We provide Regulatory and Environmental Planning services under the supervision of our Environmental Services Group Head who is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Wessler Engineering works directly with the Client to ensure that the right environmental plan is developed and permit requirements are met.

Environmental Services & Permitting
Integrity Metals, Morristown, Indiana
Wessler completed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and Wetland Delineation for a 15-acre site located in Morristown, Indiana. Once the site was purchased, Wessler provided survey, design, permitting, construction administration, and inspection services. Permitting included Rule 5, Section 401 Water Quality Certification, Section 404 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, railroad right-of-way access, and Rule 6. A Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) was also developed for the completed facility.
Wellhead Protection Planning
Sheridan, Indiana
Wessler provided assistance to the Town of Sheridan in developing and implementing their Wellhead Protection (WHP) Phase I Plan as approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) in 2002. Since that time, Wessler has facilitated annual, local planning team meetings, assisted with plan implementation and updates, and will prepare the Phase II Wellhead Protection Plan.
MS4 Program
Bargersville, Indiana
Wessler is providing Professional Engineering Services to assist the Town of Bargersville with permit compliance and program implementation of the Phase II National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4). In 2003, Wessler prepared a Storm Water Quality Management Plan, Notice of Intent, Part A, Part B and Part C application documents. Since that time, Wessler has assisted with implementing the program and has provided annual training, site inspection services, and has prepared annual reports and permit renewal documentation.
Environmental Planning
Evansville Regional Airport
Since 2005, Wessler has worked with the Evansville Regional Airport providing assistance with Rule 6 (327IAC 15-6) permit compliance, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Planing (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) planning. Site compliance evaluations, storm sampling, plan updates, and regulatory submittals are prepared annually by Wessler.
2010 Environmental Services
Eli Lilly and Company, Indianapolis, Indiana
Wessler has provided Environmental Services to Eli Lilly and Company since 2004 for their Indianapolis properties. Our services include revisions to the Accidental Discharge Prevention Plan (ADPP), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan, and the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP); Rule 6 annual report and permit renewal; semi-annual storm water testing and interpretation; SWPPP updates at the Eli Lilly Aviation Facility; semi-annual groundwater testing and interpretation; and Rule 5 regulatory inspections of active construction sites on Lilly properties.
