Night Flow Isolations
Edgewood, Indiana
Volumetric weirs were installed at six locations throughout the Town of Edgewood to quantify approximate levels of infiltration in strategic areas of the sanitary collection system. Measured infiltration can then be compared to calculated, allowable infiltration to determine not only the magnitude of the infiltration, but also the portions of the system suffering the most. This quick study can be a great, inexpensive first step in tracking down system I/I.
