Combined Sewer and Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Wessler prepared construction manuals, including specifications, scope of work exhibits and schedules. Included in the services were running progress meetings, pay claim review, work directive and change order preparation, review of submittals including materials, liner thickness calculations, and related shop drawings, preparation of as-built drawings, review of test results, project closeout, and warranty inspections.

Wessler also assisted with public and regulatory coordination, utility surveys and identification of construction conflicts.

The scope of the rehabilitation projects included: cured-in-place piping (CIPP); custom CIPP liners (inverted teardrops, horseshoe-shaped, requiring WRc method design); inverted siphon lining with CIPP; shotcrete (complete sewers); invert repair with shotcrete; fold-and-form pipe; sewer point repairs and replacement; manhole replacement; manhole rehabilitation (lining, chimney reconstruction); and sewer lateral lining.

Wessler also assisted CEG with the updating of their sewer rehabilitation construction specifications and preparing project process checklists for everything from project scoping to construction inspection to project closeout.
