Senior Project Manager Stan Diamond, P.E., BCEE is hanging up his hard hat and design work for a life of retirement. Stan joined Wessler in May 2010 and is retiring from the industry with more than 40 years of experience and expertise in planning, design and construction of water and wastewater facilities, as well as the planning and design of stormwater collection and conveyance systems and combined sewer overflow facilities.
"Stan came to Wessler 10 years ago with a desire to focus on technical expertise and quality in waterworks design and technical specifications," said CEO Marty Wessler, P.E. "He excelled in that arena and contributed to our development and growth in the drinking water industry. Stan often stated he relied on his Louisiana upbringing, as he could and would often “dig in” when he found the solution to accomplish a project. We appreciate his dedication and efforts and wish him the best in his retirement. We look forward to reconnecting with him at the American Water Works Association (AWWA) annual conferences in the future!"
Not only was Stan a great resource for projects, he also used his vast knowledge and experience in the industry to help mentor up-and-coming engineers.
"Stan has been a great technical resource for our younger engineers and seasoned engineers alike," said Drinking Water Group Head Dylan Lambermont, P.E., LEED AP. "The drinking water group will miss him!"
Please join us in thanking Stan for his hard work and dedication and wish him the best going forward!
