Assisting Evansville Regional Airport officials with annual environmental engineering and planning services, Wessler staff performed a comprehensive site evaluation to:
- confirm the accuracy of the description of potential pollution sources
- determine the effectiveness of environmental plans
- assess compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permitting for industrial facilities and annual reporting
- spill prevention, control and countermeasures for on-site oil and fuel storage
- stormwater sampling collection and review of laboratory analysis preparation of monthly monitoring report
- review and update the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
- update air emission evaluation to assess compliance with National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) standards
- completion of an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) deicing questionnaire and review of sampling data
- conducting staff training for pollution prevention and spill planning.
