City of Fort Wayne – On-Call Permitting and MS4 Services

Since 2013, the Wessler team has provided on-call permitting services for City of Fort Wayne officials which includes providing professional engineering consultation services. We have assisted City officials with project permitting needs including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), 404 waterway permits and 408 levee permits, Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), County legal drain permitting, and railroads. This work includes permit applications, coordination with agencies and City staff and obtaining permits. We also have assisted City officials with determining appropriate permits needed for specific projects and early project coordination with regulatory agencies.

Since 2024, the Wessler Team has assisted the City of Fort Wayne with MS4 services including WQCR and SWQMP review and revision, municipal facility SWPP and SPCC development and inspection, and stormwater ordinance and standards review and revision.
