About the Role
Wessler Engineering is currently seeking to fill the position of Information Technology (IT) Manager in our Indianapolis, Indiana office. This is a full-time position to lead our IT department in planning, implementing and maintaining technological solutions that support our business operations and strategic objectives. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with department heads, operations, human resources, accounting, project managers, and other team members to align IT initiatives with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT systems with new and existing business processes and equipment.
- Develop and implement Employer-provided training.
- Develop and manage IT budgets and plans.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
- Follow established company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive IT experience, including hands-on work in networking, systems administration, or software support.
- 2–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role, overseeing teams, vendors, or projects.
- Proven record of managing IT budgets, implementing systems upgrades, maintaining cybersecurity standards, and aligning technology with business strategy.
- Experience with cloud migration, enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, ERP platforms).
