We’re always happy to share some good news about our team! Our own Michaela Tauil has recently earned her Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) certification! The CPESC designation is earned by environmental scientists through a combination of professional experience and a technical exam. CPESCs are trained and tested on the following criteria, along with much more:
- various state, federal and local regulations
- procedures for gross erosion estimation
- runoff management planning
- soil stabilization mechanisms.
Environmental Services Group Head Amy Harvell had this to say about Michaela’s achievement.
“Our clients and the communities we serve demand a certain level of professional competence regarding our ability to provide solutions to complex environmental challenges. The CPESC accreditation is one of the most highly recognizable achievements within our industry demonstrating such a level of professional competence.
I am pleased to announce that Michaela receiving her CPESC accreditation means she joins an impressive list of environmental professionals dedicated to preserving the environment through erosion and sediment control and stormwater pollution prevention.”
The Wessler team now has four CPESC-accredited professionals. Once again, congratulations to Michaela on this wonderful achievement!
