The Wessler team is proud to announce that the winner of the 2021 President’s Award is Senior Designer Michelle Everetts in the Fort Wayne office!
The award was first presented in 2000 to recognize staff for going above and beyond in their work performance and dedication to the staff, company and clients.
President Brent Siebenthal stated, “Michelle always makes it a priority to prepare the best set of plans possible. She strives to make this happen not only by her skills as a senior designer, but also by her ownership of the project process. She makes project team communications happen, verifies the necessary information is obtained, questions things and suggests options and alternatives.”
“I was completely surprised and overwhelmed by the acknowledgement,” Michelle said. “Our departments and groups are amazing collections of individuals, each with varying experience, knowledge, and skills and no single one of us can do this job alone. I feel very strongly that we can only continue to succeed if, individually, we continue to proactively support one another. To me, this recognition was a shout out to each of us to continue taking ownership, speak up and find ways we can improve individually – it’s really the only way we can be our best as a whole.”
