Wessler Welcomes Jay Dial

Posted by Seth Morin on March 22, 2018

Wessler is excited to welcome Jay Dial to the team! Jay has joined our Fort Wayne office as a Resident Project Representative, where he brings more than 20 years of construction experience.

We asked him a handful of questions so that we all can get to know him better.

What attracted you to the civil engineering/field services industries?

I have always been interested in drawing and planning things out. After being out in the field installing, repairing, and building things for more than 20 years I thought that it might be time to look for a way I could use that knowledge I had acquired to further grow and develop in a new avenue. When this position was brought to my attention it seemed very apparent to me that this was that avenue. I see it as a way for me to stay involved in the construction field, but also grow as a person and a professional.

What are some things you enjoy doing in your spare time?

There are a lot of things I like to do – hunting, fishing, camping, photography, singing, watching PBR (Professional Bull Riding). I have also been a volunteer fire fighter with the Woodburn Fire Department for more than 20 years.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and what would you do?

If I could travel anywhere… I wouldn’t be able to pick just one place! I want to see it all – all the history, all the people, all the cultures.

What are some things you are passionate about?

God, Country and Family!
