Wellhead Protection Implementation

Wessler provided assistance to the Town of Sheridan in implementing their Wellhead Protection Plan, as approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Our services included identifying storm and sanitary sewers located within the sanitary setbacks at both well fields, providing notification and educational materials to residents and businesses within the well field areas; and compiling an inventory of potential contaminant sources, including Contingency Plan contact notification information, procedures to follow in the event of a spill, and locations of abandoned water wells.
