Civil Engineer Intern

About the Role

Wessler Engineering is currently accepting resumes for a civil engineer intern at our Indianapolis, IN office. This position will assist in planning, design, and construction administration tasks in projects as assigned.

The following is a list of potential tasks that each intern will be tasked with completing during their tenure with us:

CAD, GIS & Revit tasks
Client meeting – design review
Construction site visit – linear work and plant work
Cost and quantity estimating
Data outreach request to: Client, Contractor, Regulator, Vendor
Design field check – linear work and plant work
Drinking water design project
SCADA/ controls design and/or construction meeting
Stormwater design project
Survey field work
Wastewater design project
Vendor lunch & learn attendance

Requirements:

Be in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
Team-oriented with good communication and organizational skills
Ability to successfully complete tasks independently with guidance from managers and technical experts

Proficient in computer usage for engineering analysis and design
