It is my sincere feeling that the phrase “More Than a Project” is a perfect descriptor for the type of relationship the Wessler Engineering exhibits with their clients. Marty and his team have been a driving force for Lawrence Utilities in nearly every conceivable phase. In 2016 Marty spent many hours working with me and my superintendents as we endeavored to resolve the problems we’d inherited after years of poor management.

Marty walked me through the process of receiving a critically important SRF Loan that quite literally allowed us to save our water utility. Now just a couple of years removed and he still directing some of our critical infrastructure solutions. Dylan Lambermont helped prepare and to secure a highly competitive $2 million SWIF Grant for the city that will go a long way to serving our burgeoning capacity issues. It is hard for me to measure the beneficial impact that the Wessler team has had on the City of Lawrence’s Utility and although Marty is quick to defer credit to his employees, it is clear to me that he provides the leadership for his team. Yes, Wessler Engineering provides far “More Than a Project” as their integrity, guidance and friendship are evident throughout his commitment to the City of Lawrence.“
