Utility Coordinator
About the Role
This position performs utility coordination, leads review of ROW and easement control for purpose of utility coordination, and leads utility conflict resolution during planning, design, and construction phases of projects. Provides additional project management and construction management support to project teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
Process Updates
Attending project planning and design meetings in addition to regularly working with all staff on various stages of projects in regard to the coordination of utilities need.
Quality Control
Assist in research & development of cost estimates, general construction administration & management tasks, and the coordination of construction issues between construction management and design staff.
Requirements:
Associate’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related subject matter
Six years experience working with utilities, municipalities, and/or engineers in the coordination of utilities
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read and interpret plans & specifications
Ability to communicate and present information to both internal and external clients and staff in a professional manner
