Wessler Engineering Recognized by Indiana Chamber of Commerce as a Gold COVID Stops Here Workplace

Wessler Engineering has been granted the designation of a Gold COVID Stops Here workplace for achieving a 90% vaccination rate. Promoted by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, the COVID Stops Here campaign recognizes Indiana workplaces that have achieved widespread vaccinations against COVID-19.

Vice President of Administration Melissa Mitchell had this to say about our recent recognition. “Wessler is appreciative of our employees’ efforts to battle against COVID by getting vaccinated. The COVID Stops Here campaign is a great way to recognize their effort. We are all in this together.”

When the COVID-19 pandemic began the Wessler team, like other companies, needed to adapt quickly. The quickest decision was to have employees work remotely. Our IT staff worked tirelessly to ensure our 100-plus member team had all the equipment needed to continue working efficiently and effectively from home.  Working remotely encouraged our team to get more comfortable in Microsoft Teams, whether we were having weekly meetings or catching up at virtual happy hours.

Although separated, the Wessler Administration team made it a priority to emphasize the importance of our culture and sense of togetherness, which surely was a contributing factor in earning the designation as one of the 2021 Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

With vaccines playing a major role in the fight against Covid, Wessler team members now can work a hybrid office schedule throughout the week.

The Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Wellness Council of Indiana are promoting the COVID Stops Here campaign as a way to celebrate workplaces that are leading the fight to stop COVID-19.
