Combined Sewer Overflow Notification Plan

The Wessler Engineering team assisted Village of Oak Harbor, Ohio officials with the creation of a combined sewer overflow (CSO) public notification plan that is compliant with the federal rule requiring the submittal for CSO communities’ branch to the Great Lakes.

Wessler’s services included:

• evaluating existing signage for compliance
• preparing a list of public entities and the general public impacted by CSO events
• preparing an annual notice template
• conducting outreach to the local public health department and other potentially impacted areas.
